Stand and Deliver
Tomorrow is opening day of the Dry Creek Farm Stand, a collaboration between us and a few of our neighbors to sell locally grown foods and locally produced value-added items. Because tomorrow is the first day it will be primarily produce and poultry from our farm for sale, but in the coming Saturdays we expect to have participation from more of our neighbors.
We’ve done our best to draw attention to the stand. Geoff ordered the big colorful sign, I got the obnoxiously festive pennant flags, and our neighbors provided the building and auxiliary pop-ups. We’ve tried to be realistic about our goal setting, so our main goal for tomorrow is to make our presence known in the community. We hope people will see the stand and stop by, but if they don’t stop by we hope they will at least think of us next Saturday and hopefully stop by then. As the summer progresses we’ll have more and more items to offer. We are crossing our fingers that passersby will stop in and investigate.
In the mean time, Bailey is really enjoying the new addition to the farm.
She hopes you’ll come see her tomorrow between 9am and 1pm. Put Good Life Ranch into Google Maps and it will take you directly to us.
