As happens sometimes, we made a meal so delicious that we ate it before I remembered to take a picture of it. If you had been with us in the moments before we ate you would have seen something like this:
What is that scrumptious looking culinary delight? That is a grilled cheese (havarti) and kale sandwich with tomato soup. Geoff planted kale in the garden and it is doing really well. I sauteed a nice bunch of it with salt, pepper, and olive oil then placed it between two slices of wheat bread and two slices of havarti cheese. Then I warmed up some Amy’s Cream of Tomato soup and we ate well. Really well.
Did I mention that Kale is a superfood. Well it is.
